Sound the Alarm

In October the U.S and Canada participates in fire prevention week. To help bring awareness the Red Cross is participating in the sound the alarm program. They will be going to low income neighborhoods, and installing free smoke alarms. They like to get the local fire departments involved along with the community.If your interested in helping please contact your local RED Cross.This is a program that the Red Cross participates in every year to try, and reduce the number of lives lost due to home fires. They work hard to make sure the families in our communities are aware of the importance of fire safety, and just a little bit safer in case a fire does occur.
