Storm Prep!

This time last year we were unfortunately dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane  Harvey. Everyone in the country chipped in to help those who were affected. We have only seen minor tropical storms so far this year. Which is a blessing. However, it is very important to be prepared if another major storm were to hit. Its always a good idea to have a emergency plan put in place. Your family needs to know what to do in case of flooding, power outages, and other storm related emergencies. Make sure you have extra light sources such as candles, flashlights, and batteries, along with staples including water, non-perishable food items and blankets. Also, it is a good idea to have a designated safe area. This is a place your family knows to meet and wait out any dangerous storms. This will prevent getting separated and eliminate any confusion there may be. Always remember we are here to help!
